Katie Balloons's Story:
Katie has worked as Katie Balloons for 16 years, and couldn’t be happier. Thanks to balloons Katie has enjoyed TV stardom, world travel, great friendships, artistic expression, and the ability to contribute something special to humanity. Her gratefulness is apparent and recycled into her client relationships. So...How did it happen?

At the impressionable age of 7, Katie received a balloon twisting kit for her birthday. She took to balloons like a duck to water — Katie even made some balloon ducks, as well as the requisite dogs and giraffes. But after running out of balloons, Katie forgot her new hobby and flitted off to other creative pursuits. Katie had no idea that the brief balloon encounter of her youth would be the beginning of her life’s work
She was a tenacious youngster, often taking the path less traveled. At age 19, she decided to leave college to pursue a career in the arts. Hoping to blend creativity with practicality, she solely sought professional artistic projects. Through her experiences she discovered the world of balloons, and quickly realized that she possessed the natural skill set to become a successful balloon artist.
She rapidly excelled in the medium. Though she had only been working with balloons for 6 months, Katie's ability and personality were buzz-worthy in the industry at an international level. At age 22, Katie was offered a coveted position at a festival in Shanghai. There, she worked with legendary balloon artists from around the world and earned an education that continues to power her professional and artistic goals.
Now, Katie lives by splitting her time between Brooklyn and the Pocono Mountains. Her love for ballooning has matured along side her, morphing seamlessly with each chapter her life brings. Katie often compares her ever evolving dynamic with balloons to marriage. “It’s a relationship that has been a constant in my adult life, that has changed and blossomed phase-to-phase. In good and bad times, for better or for worse… I am now, and will always be, Katie Balloons.”
